Mostly lively pieces with a great deal of rhythmic vitality, though not all are as eccentric as the notorious Dy Katzenphote. All the pieces work on strings, recorders, etc. Soprano and tenor can be played solely or with an a contra-tenor which should be capable of leaping up an octave without getting suddenly louder.
